Born in 1967 in Washington, D.C., he moved frequently in his childhood before his family finally settled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  He attended University of Maryland and began his own business with his uncle which included historic property renovations.  In his early 20's he began researching his family history with his uncle and discovered his love for history, research, writing, and speaking.  


John, born to a family with big legends, mysteries, and intriguing tales, is married and has two wonderful boys.
