There's much to learn about John Flood -  his passion, his drive, and his own history.

• John Flood's great-great grandfather, 3rd Cav SGT Patrick Flood, fought in the Indian Wars serving in the frontier Army from 1866-1896.
• Buffalo Bill, Calamity Jane and Crazy Horse were among the notable people Patrick Flood encountered.
• Wild West meets East Coast when Patrick's son,  John Thomas Flood, attends Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. in 1901.

Born in 1967 in Washington, D.C., he moved frequently in his childhood before his family finally settled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  He attended University of Maryland and began his own business with his uncle which included historic property renovations.  In his early 20's he began researching his family history with his uncle and discovered his love for history, research, writing, and speaking.  

John, born to a family with big legends, mysteries, and intriguing tales, is married and has two wonderful boys.
